Remember that it may not be such a good idea getting your auto loan directly from the car dealer. The credit interest rates people get from car dealers are usually pretty high, sure you will be able to drive back to your home right there and then but think about all that extra interest can do to your budget.

If you have a good credit score then getting a preapproved loan can be very beneficial, you can even use your pre approved loan as a bargaining chip. Lenders usually go out of their way in helping people with pre-approved auto credit loans because it is just like cash already in their hands.
